We're Going!

Woohoo! Dean got an email overnight from the head of pediatrics at the hospital on Yongsan base in Seoul, South Korea stating that they will allow "command sponsorship" for our family to accompany Dean. Yay! It took his soon-to-be colonel getting involved and pulling some strings, or rather prodding them a bit to locate a pediatric hematology department at a local hospital in Seoul that is willing to see to the boys' care and that can come up with factor for them. That's all it took. I think that Dean and I will see about getting training to administer the factor ourselves (learn to start an I.V., which obviously Dean can do, but the boys aren't cats after all
- ha ha) so we can be more self sufficient. So, now it's time to get passports for the boys and all that jazz...

We're glad everything is working out so you will all be able to embark on this exciting opportunity. What a great chance for your boys to learn a new culture and even language! At least you'll have email to keep in contact with family and friends.
